¿Can't touch This?

Sheesh I haven't posted here in forever!
Since my last entry I have decided to keep going to school for a 4-year degree.
All my classes are online through UT Martin, so I don't have to go to any lectures.

Adam visited twice but wasn't able to stay for good, but that's okay because I'm busy being a full-time student again and I was working full-time till a couple weeks ago when he came to see me for my birthday and I quit my job!

I'm gonna go visit him in January and meet his family and everything so I'm really excited about using my passport for the first time ever!

Also my sister got engaged and on her 18th birthday she left with her boyfriend who lives in Florida and they are getting married on the beach at the end of January. I thought she was being crazy, but she's been happy so far and got a job as a gymnastics coach.

Today I'm going out to find a new job and then hopefully find a good deal on an airline ticket to U.K. :D

I am graduating tomorrow!
Getting my AS degree in Media Technology with a concentration in Web.

It feels so good to be done with school, even though now I don't know what to do with myself.

I guess I will find a full-time job somewhere since I have to start paying all my bills now.

Adam is probably coming back to America in the beginning of July which is longer than expected, but the wait is worth it :)

I took Adam to the airport on Monday, so he has been in England for nearly a week now.
But it seems like it's already been so much longer.

He's not sure when he's coming back, but there's a chance it might not be until June.
I miss him a lot even though I've been pretty busy lately.

Adam and I are going with Ryan to his super awesome lakehouse in Cookeville when I get done with my internship today!
I'm pretty excited and can't decide which bikini to pack.

I hope the weather is nicer than what the forecast says.
The past three days have felt wonderful!
It would be nice to have something like that when we go out on the boat!

Ugh, what a Saturday..
I've been sitting at home the entire day doing schoolwork that's due tomorrow at midnight.
I have one assignment left, but I'm just going to do it in the morning.

My Web Project Management assignment was soo annoying. It took me forever to complete and then I was about to submit it and I saw that it was supposed to be submitted in HTML and I did it in Word. So I tried to save it as an HTML document, but of course my charts looked all jacked up, so I just submitted it in the wrong file format. I don't even care if I get counted off for it. It was way too frustrating making up fake project specifications.
I'd rather be doing the real thing instead of making up B.S. to be approved by a client who doesn't even exist.

Hopefully Adam and Ryan will be coming over to play some Rockband tomorrow and my mom will be cooking us whatever we want for dinner YAY!

Watchmen comes out tomorrow, and Adam and I are going to see it with his old roommate, Mitchell.
Although Adam says that supposedly girls won't like this movie, but how bad can it be watching a dead girl's body get eaten by a dog?

Oh and also Adam randomly told me today that he is going to visit home in England in a couple weeks :(
But he says he's going to try to come back at the end of April, so hopefully it won't be too long. I might even have my AS degree by then! Only 9 weeks left this semester :D

I had a great time in Saint Louis! Mardi Gras was super fun and I met lots of cool people.

Also I really enjoyed spending three entire days with Adam :)



Today we moved the rest of his stuff out of his apartment and into Ryan's and then laid around all day being lazy, but it was nice and I wish I didn't have curfew.

UGH, schoolwork is annoying, but I am trying to get it all done by tomorrow bc Friday I'm going to SAINT LOUIS with Adam and Ryan!!!

Apparently there is a Mardi Gras celebration there that they had a lot of fun at last year.
I can't believe my parents are actually okay with me going outta town with the guy I'm dating and his best friend. I guess they are finally realizing it's time for me to make my own decisions :)

I am really excited, because I have never been to Saint Louis and I never get to go outta town without adult supervision!

ALSO I got a job at WOK HAY off Merchants, where Carol Anne works.
It's owned by Ruby Tuesday, which is where I worked for 3 years.
So this is basically the same job, but with Asian food. Everything else is the same, except hopefully I'll be making more money :p

I start serving tomorrow. I'm a little nervous that I don't know the food very well yet, but I'm really excited to be making some cash finally!

Why are hemorrhoids called "hemorrhoids" instead of "assteroids"?

So Adam has gotten me liking this show Flight of the Conchords and this jingle has been stuck in my head all week!

Last night was so fun, and hilarious.
Being the designated driver for 3 drunk guys is priceless.
The last couple hours got a little crazy though. Shoulda cut them off on drinks before going to Barley's. Then maybe Ryan wouldn't have disappeared for an hour haha!
I ended up staying out all night and falling asleep at Adam's. I thought my parents were going to be pissed that I stayed the night at my boyfriend's place, but surprisingly enough..they didn't even lecture me or yell or anything!
The only bad thing was I got didn't wake up till 3 p.m. today and had a ton of assignments due at midnight tonight, but I just got them all finished and submitted YAY!

Seems like I have way more assignments in week 2 than I had in week one this semester.
I can work on my online classes for 3 hours straight and only get 2 or 3 things done.
And I have a huge list with like 3 things per class and I have 5 classes and an internship.
I also just spent forever filling out an online application for Marriott.
This girl I used to work with at Ruby Tuesday works there now and is making $10.00 an hour.
That rate sounds pretty good to me right now, considering the job market.
So hopefully they will call me back about a part-time position :)
I find that jumping on my trampoline relieves stress bc it is nearly impossible to bounce without laughing. And then it's funny afterward as well, bc when you try to jump on normal ground, gravity is like, "Nope, you can't jump high anymore."

So I have officially gotten my parents addicted to Rockband.
My mom has even invited my boyfriend and his best friend over twice to play Rockband 2
And even cooked us all chicken fettuccine alfredo, which was delicious.
And then, the other day she said, "If Adam and Ryan would come around more often, I'd buy another guitar so all four of us can play together!"
So she bought a $70.00 wireless guitar from best buy and we all rocked out haha!
Then I put my dad on drum tutorials, which was interesting bc he can't play slow beats, but he can play fast beats really well..
Tomorrow I have to meet with one of my teachers at 11:30 and then I have a doctor appointment at 1 bc I still have a scar on my eye from my corneal ulcer, which is blocking my vision. Then I have a date with Mr. Adam, which means I will probably be staying out till 1 a.m. in order to take full advantage of my weekend curfew, which is an hour later than I can stay out on weekdays.
Haha, no wonder my hair stylist didn't think I was 21.
By the way, I got my hair cut shorter than I have ever had it before :p
So many changes have been taking place lately.

Today was pretty good :)

Ugh, still no job. And my 6 online classes have started.
So has my internship at WATE.
I did my first day there yesterday and got a tour and worked in the newsroom.
Matt Hinkin, Lori Tucker, Kristin Farley, and Don Dare were all walking around in there.
I saw Don Dare shopping online for sweaters at his desk haha!
I also had some input on the content that was put on the WATE web site. Pretty cool!

I've basically spent the past three days with Adam, and I decided today I needed to find a job.
However, I am not seeing anything that pays well that I am interested in.
And I'm not being that picky either.
I had an interview at Bailey's but I haven't been contacted and it's been a few days..

My mom told me she used to deliver pizzas and that one time someone gave here a joint as a tip. Hahahah!

I thought Travis had stopped talking to me, but he just had a lot going on.
He is still my friend, and that means so much to me.

Well, turns out I had a wonderful time in D.C.
Went to a few museums and rode the metro. All the tourist stuff!
And I also got to spend the new year with my family, even if there was a lil drama.
We got back Saturday night, then Sunday my mom colored my hair and I went with her to get the dogs from the kennel.
As soon as we got Zeus and A.J. home, I left for Johnson City to visit Justin, Ian, and Ben.
Monday I went with Justin to Spruce Pine so he could register for classes at the college he's going to this semester. Then his "Mumzi" cooked us a lovely dinner and even dessert!
I got back home late last night. Today at 2, I turned in an application at Bailey's Sports Bar and I have an interview there tomorrow at 1:30!
Now I am sleepy and I hope my boyfriend gets back from Nashville soon bc I have missed him!

I had such a wonderful day today.
I don't want to go to D.c. tomorrow :(
I do want to visit my family, but 5 days seems like a long time to be away.
Especially during new year's.
At least I will get to do some hardcore shopping!

Wow. I didn't think I would be able to get this close with someone so soon.
It's great and I'm glad, but can't help but wonder how long it will be able to last.
